Knowledge and skills in maintenance of navigational equipment

2nd Officers (Maritime) need to distribute work for the maintenance of navigational equipment.

Minimum Requirements

• A higher diploma in maritime studies or equivalent is usually required
• Relevant certificates recognised by ocean going sector and/ or river trade sector; Certificate of Competency (Deck Officer) Class 3
• 12 to 36 months sea-time experience
