Compliance Manager
Description of Tasks
Compliance Managers are responsible for implementing compliance policy and procedures. Ensures that the business and its products comply with all relevant laws, regulations, codes and standards. Keep abreast of the global development and international standards, and alerts management on the high risk areas. Maintains communications with different stakeholders for continuous enhancement on compliance management.
Business operation knowledge and skills
Compliance Managers must be able to apply relevant theoretical and practical knowhow to ensure that the business and its products comply with all relevant laws, regulations, codes and standards.
Business monitoring knowledge and skills
Compliance Managers must be able to compile and examine various business statements and reports to assure their accuracy, integrity and conformance to relevant laws, regulations, codes and standards.
Business analysis knowledge and skills
Compliance Managers must be able to analyse various business ratios and indicators for evaluating the business status of an organisation to ensure that it operates efficiently and effectively.
Minimum Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in Law, Accounting, Finance or other discipline related to their field of work
- 5 to 8 years of relevant work experience
- Professional qualifications related to their field of work (e.g. Certified Public Accountant (CPA))
