Compliance Officer
Description of Tasks
Compliance Officers supervise the daily operations of the company to ensure that the business and its products comply with all relevant laws, regulations, codes and standards.
Business operation knowledge and skills
Compliance Officers must be able to apply relevant theoretical and practical knowhow to ensure that the business and its products comply with all relevant laws, regulations, codes and standards.
Business monitoring knowledge and skills
Compliance Officers must be able to compile and examine various business statements and reports to assure their accuracy, integrity and conformance to relevant laws, regulations, codes and standards.
Business analysis knowledge and skills
Compliance Officers must be able to assist in analysing various business ratios and indicators for evaluating the business status of an organisation to ensure that it operates efficiently and effectively.
Minimum Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in Law, Accounting, Finance or other discipline related to their field of work
- 2 to 3 years of relevant work experience
- Professional qualifications related to their field of work (e.g. Certified Public Accountant (CPA))
