Description of Tasks

Data Scientists work closely with cross-functional teams to perform statistical analysis at department and division level using machine learning algorithms and programming to build predictive models undertake pre-processing of structure and unstructured data as well as to collaborate with IT team to push big data projects to production.

Analytical skills

Data Scientists possess the ability to analyse complex data, identify core issues and investigate, evaluate and reach appropriate conclusions/solutions to optimise the business.

Statistical knowledge and skills

Data Scientists possess good understanding of the principles and practices of statistical modeling, data science, data mining and quantitative analytics.

Minimum Requirements

• A recognised higher diploma or bachelor's degree, typically in computer science, software engineering, or related field
• at least 2-3 years' relevant experience is required
