Systems Analyst
Description of Tasks
Systems Analysts study an organisation's current computer systems to help the organisation operate more efficiently and effectively. They analyse user requirements, procedures, and problems to improve existing systems and review computer system capabilities, workflow, and scheduling limitations. They bring business and information technology (IT) together by understanding the needs and limitations of both.
Critical thinking skills
Systems Analysts must interpret complex information from various sources and be able to decide the best way to solve the problems. They must also be able to figure out how changes may affect the project.
Analytical skills
Systems Analysts work between management and the IT department and must be able to explain complex issues in a way that both will understand.
Creativity
Systems Analysts are always tasked with finding innovative solutions to computer problems.
Minimum Requirements
