Since its inception in 1961, the Hong Kong Country Club has been acknowledged as one of Asia’s finer private members' clubs and also renowned for its friendly, informal atmosphere, high standard of service and attentiveness of its employees. We are looking for the following talent:

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Facilities Manager to manage and direct the daily operations of the Engineering Department.
  • Responsible for all engineering repair, maintenance and improvement works of the Club. Take a proactive role to provide technical expertise to Management related to the Club’s building services and builder’s works.
  • Prepare and review the maintenance service contracts for major E&M equipment and systems.
  • Monitor and ensure the quality of performance and workmanship of both outsourced and in-house repair and maintenance works.
  • Work with the Facilities Manager to plan and prepare annual budgets including major capital works and operating expenses for all Club’s facilities.
  • Liaise and coordinate with different Government Agencies for Club License Renewals and any other Statutory License and Certificate Renewals.
  • Attend committee and taskforce meetings related to the Club’s projects and operations.

Requirements:

  • Degree or above in Engineering, Building Services or Building relevant disciplines.
  • Strong background and technical knowledge of building services maintenance and well versed in the statutory requirement of building projects.
  • A minimum of 5 years building engineering experience at senior supervisory/managerial levels preferably gained in renowned private clubs and/or large-scale hotels.
  • Good command of both spoken English and Cantonese.
  • Good communication, interpersonal, negotiation, time management and leadership skills.
  • Proven record in project management, self-motivated, result oriented and be able to work under pressure.
