Job description

Hip Hing Construction Company Limited, a main contractor in Hong Kong undertaking various types of building and civil engineering projects, is looking for a high-calibre candidate to fill in the following position for its Hong Kong projects: -

Responsibilities

• Manage and delegate work to Planning Engineers to complete technical proposals for pre-qualification and tender submissions.
• Coordinate with other departments within the company for necessary input for pre-qualification and tender submissions.
• Coordinate with BIM Team to produce BIM/3D drawings and construction animations for tender submissions.
• Coordinate with Architects / Clients / Consultants / Joint Ventures and sub-contractors on technical matters.
• Prepare replies to tender queries on technical matters.
• Attend pre-tender briefings, site visits and tender interviews.
• Present technical proposals to company directors.
• Feasibility study of alternative construction methods

Requirements

• Degree in Building / Civil / Structural Engineering or equivalent.
• 10~12 years relevant working experience
• Basic leadership, negotiation and supervisory skills
• Basic project contractual knowledge
• Familiar with construction technologies such as MiC and DfMA.
• Familiar with MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Primavera P6, MS Project.
• Basic knowledge in current BIM technologies such as Revit, Navisworks and Fuzor.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Good command of spoken and written English & Chinese.

Less experience will be considered as Senior Planning Engineer
