How you will make an impact:

This role is situated within the Central Support Department, under the Corporate Development division, and reports directly to the Senior Manager of Corporate Development. The Central Support Department collaborates closely with other departments within the division, such as Mainland Investments and Overseas Investments. This collaboration aims to fulfill the Group’s mandate and strategic initiative, which involve geographically diversifying the real estate business, enhancing operational capabilities, and diversifying revenue streams.

  • Offer central support to facilitate the Division’s strategic initiatives as required, including close collaboration with finance, legal, and project departments for potential investment projects.
  • Perform comprehensive risk assessments on potential real estate investment deals, encompassing market research, business strategy evaluation, and financial due diligence. This is done in conjunction with deal teams and the finance team prior to submitting business proposals to senior management and the Board.
  • Participate in the internal approval and reporting process by drafting investment memos/investment analysis reports, managing and communicating with internal stakeholders, presenting to the management team, and addressing their feedback.
  • Assist the Managing Director of Corporate Development with any new or ad hoc projects. This includes end-to-end project management, from research and execution to performance management.
  • Conduct thorough research on selected topics as needed.
  • Provide administrative support to the Senior Manager of Corporate Development when necessary.

What we are looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related discipline.
  • Professional qualifications such as CPA, CFA, CAIA, or FRM are preferred.
  • Minimum 7 years experiences in private equity, strategy investment (M&A focus), investment banking, corporate finance advisory, or the global accounting industry.
  • M&A experience in mainland and overseas is a bonus.
  • Strong research, financial modelling, and presentation skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Team-oriented with strong coordination and problem-solving skills.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work under pressure.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
