Responsibilities:

• Lead the team and manage day-to-day operation of food production lines to achieve production schedules and targets
• Assist Manager in developing and implementing production and quality systems and ensure compliance of related requirements and standards with strong food safety sense
• Monitor planned production schedule and productivity with appropriate amendment & adjustment made to accommodate daily changes
• Maintain GMP to ensure end-product is in alignment with the product specification
• Perform analysis on work flow and production efficiency regularly, collect and maintain accurate records and support month-end reports
• Promote work safety culture and work with related departments to enhance safe production operation (to provide safe equipment and working environment for staff) so as to prevent any industrial accidents
• Promote food safety culture and work with related departments to enhance food safety production
• Downtime Analysis to evaluate machine and employee performances (e.g. high downtime: low output)
• Co-ordinate with other departments in terms of machine improvement(Engineering), quality control and product specification (Q.A.), packaging material quantity & delivery (Warehouse), packaging material quality improvement (Procurement), frozen foods specification revision (R&D), and monthly stock take (PPC)
• Participate in regular factory audits and checks, and take up ad hoc assignments
• Others ad hoc projects/events/assignments assigned by superior

Requirements:

• University degree in Food Science, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering or related discipline
• 5 years solid experience in food manufacturing, preferably in supervisory level
• Knowledge of ISO22000 / HACCP / BRC will be an advantage
• Detail-minded, well-organized and sensitive to figures, self-motivated and willing to take up challenges
• Team-player, willing to learn and with good communication and problem-solving skills
• Manufacturing concept for calculating efficiency (input/output) and productivity improvement
• Computer literacy (e.g. MS Words, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Proficient in both Chinese and English, as well as in computer applications
