Aviation Security Company Limited (AVSECO) has been a leading provider of aviation security and related services since its inception in 1997. The company's primary role is the provision of Aviation Security (AVSEC) services to safeguard the travelling public and civil aviation operations at Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA).

We provide a wide range of services including aircraft security services, boarding gate security controls, access controls and guarding services to various facilities operators at HKIA, together with X-ray screening of cargo and mail, aircrew screening, passenger profiling, permit controls, consultancy services etc.

Job Duties

• Provide network infrastructure support and maintenance, including network design, scripting and relevant configuration or tuning on network facilities such as LAN/WAN, switching, routing, firewalls, access points etc.;
• Monitor network connectivity and security control, including VLAN, ACL, and routing rules;
• Monitor network systems performance and identify areas of possible enhancement; and close out outstanding network issues by implementing fixes or upgrades;
• Conduct analysis on existing network systems and availability of solutions and technologies in the market; acquire and implement corresponding network systems and tools, if any;
• Provide Server-side supports and maintenance, including Windows and VM platform such as Mware, Nutanix AHV etc;
• Coordinate with users and vendor for project implementation and arrange training for users; and
• Provide end-user support, and handle service requests related to infrastructure support and maintenance.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent;
• Minimum 5 years of relevant IT experience;
• Proven experience on network infrastructure: firewall, router, switches, DNS, VPN, VLAN etc.
• Excellent knowledge of major network equipment such as: H3C Switches, Fortigate Firewall, or FireEye;
• Sound skills in Windows, CentOS, SUSE Linux, AHV and VMware platform;
• Sound knowledge in best practices of project management and IT governance;
• Able to work independently and under pressure;
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with all levels of the organization;
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills; and
• Holder of relevant professional certificates, preferable but not essential.
