Job Posting Details Reporting to the Senior Manager (Communications and Content) in the Global Engagement and Communications Office, the candidate will maintain the highest editorial standards as a writer and editor, and will be responsible for the development and delivery of compelling, as well as distinctive storytelling content that engages HKUST's stakeholders worldwide. The appointee will drive, support and implement various editorial content initiatives, such as the University's annual report, feature articles, e-newsletters, honorary degree citations, and senior management speeches and key messages. Handling administrative tasks for the team will also be part of the role.

Applicants should have a bachelor's degree in communications, linguistics, or a related field and at least 7 years of proven writing and editorial experience, preferably in a corporate setting. Experience with multimedia content production is a plus. The successful candidate must demonstrate high proficiency in both English and Chinese writing and effective project management. A high level of mastery in Simplified Chinese is a distinct advantage. To excel in this role, the individual must be a critical and creative thinker, be highly flexible and proactive, and capable of working independently in a rapid-response and team-oriented environment. (Duration: 2 years, renewable) Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits including annual leave, medical and dental benefits will be provided. A gratuity will be payable upon successful completion of contract.
