Job description

The Tung Wah Group of Hospitals is the largest charitable organization in Hong Kong. At present, we offer medical and health, education, community, historical and cultural heritage preservation, and traditional services to the community with over 360 service centres spreading over the territory of Hong Kong.

Location: Sheung Wan

Roles & responsibilities:

  • Conduct effective leasing negotiation of the assigned properties and co-ordinate flat viewing with estate agents, tenants and prospective tenants;
  • analyze market trends and movements and prepare reports for marketing strategies and approaches;
  • supervise subordinates by giving guidance, support and directions;
  • carry out leasing administration duties to check tenant records, rental collection reports, receipts, debit notes and conduct rent chasing;
  • attend and answer complaints, enquiries and requests from tenants and prospective tenants for the provisions of quality leasing;
  • work closely with other teams to monitor status of renovation projects, repair and maintenance works of vacant units;
  • prepare annual budgets on leasing and marketing aspects of the assigned investment properties;
  • attend emergency calls and urgent duty round the clock; and
  • perform ad hoc duties as assigned.

The ideal candidate should have/be:

  • a recognized Degree in Business, Real Estate, Housing Management or equivalent;
  • a minimum of 8 years’ working experience in leasing and tenancy administration of which 3 years must be in a supervisory position;
  • enthusiastic personality with can do attitude;
  • excellent negotiation and interpersonal communication skills; and
  • preferably Estate Agents Authority Licence and experience in property management.

Compensation & employment terms:

The successful candidate will initially be offered a 3-year contract with a remuneration package which will be commensurate with his/her background and experience. The continuation of employment and employment terms thereafter will be subject to mutual agreement. Apart from contributions to the MPF Scheme, other benefits include paid annual leave, medical services, a dental scheme and training sponsorships. The incumbent will normally work under a 5-day week schedule subject to operational needs and exigencies of the service.
