Responsible Officer (RO) - Type 1, Fintech Department | HK Talent Engage

Job description

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Fintech team to develop and implement innovative solutions to improve operational efficiency and enhance the customer experience.
• Assist in the design and implementation of fintech projects, including system enhancements, process optimization, and automation initiatives.
• Conduct research and analysis on industry trends, regulatory requirements, and best practices to support decision-making and ensure compliance.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including technology, operations, compliance, and business development, to drive project execution and achieve departmental goals.
• Provide support and guidance to internal stakeholders on fintech-related processes and systems.

Requirements:

• Strong background in large Chinese securities firms or internet-based brokerages preferred.
• Currently holding an RO 1 license.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with various teams and stakeholders.
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance and industry best practices in the financial services sector.
• Flexibility and adaptability to work in different areas of fintech, including frontline business or middle/back-office operations.
