Job description

Job Responsibilities- Handle major and complex non-performing loan portfolios;

  • Manage and lead the case management team to resolve NPLs in compliance with the Bank's relevant policies and procedures;
  • Negotiate / liaise with borrowers and/or other lenders as well as professionals to work out the restructuring / repayment plan;
  • Seek proper internal approval for various strategies, repayment plans or legal actions, and monitor the progress of repayment and implement the approved strategies;
  • Investigate the reasons of default and prepare due diligence reports, as well as share the findings with various related parties;
  • Draft, review and fine-tune the Group's policies and regulations in relation to NPL management and provide advice on policies and procedures relevant to credit risk management;
  • Draft various consolidated reports in relation to NPL handling and management.

Job Requirements- Full time degree holder or above with major in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration etc;

  • Over 8 years' relevant banking experience in lending business or special assets management, or over 5 years' relevant experience in corporate restructuring or financial advisory, preferably with experience in credit assessment, credit approval, loan monitoring or due diligent exercise;
  • Have knowledge about the bank's management policies, regulations and procedures, credit products and operations;
  • Familiar with corporate lending, retail credit and trade finance documentations;
  • Have profound knowledge about the relevant laws and civil litigation procedures in Hong Kong and the Mainland China;
  • Strong Chinese and English writing skills, fluent in Mandarin and English, proficiency in Cantonese would be an advantage;
