Job description

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, quality assurance (QA) specialists, and product managers, to design, develop, test, and deploy software systems and applications.
• Develop and implement DevOps processes, practices, and tools to enhance the speed, quality, and reliability of software deliverables.
• Ensure the security, scalability, and efficiency of software systems and applications by implementing best practices and standards.
• Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements, design solutions, and deliver software systems and applications that address business needs.
• Monitor and analyze system performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement optimizations.
• Maintain compliance with industry standards, best practices, and regulatory requirements.
• Stay informed about emerging trends and technologies, and recommend enhancements to software systems and applications.
• Demonstrate expertise in DevOps and authorization, including proficiency in OAuth implementation.
• Possess familiarity with MySQL, including SQL writing, database knowledge like table structure, keys, and indexing.
• Have experience with cloud development, with AWS, Azure, or GCP being preferable.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in a DevOps engineering role, with experience in leading teams.
• Strong background in software development, cloud computing, and DevOps practices.
• Solid hands-on experience in OpenShift/Kubernetes, GitOps, Helm, AWS, Azure, Bash, and Python.
• Experience with Agile methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban.
• Extensive experience with cloud platforms, such as AWS or Azure.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Proficient with infrastructure as code tools, such as Terraform or Ansible.
• Experience with version control systems, such as Git.
• Fluency in Cantonese, Mandarin, and English.
• Certification in AWS, Azure, or other cloud platforms is preferable
• Certification in DevOps, such as DevOps Foundation or DevOps Engineering.
