Our client is an investor have a large portfolio of business in APAC region, they are developing a new advertising business in Hong Kong and is seeking for a seasoned HR & Admin Manager to act as a key member of the leadership team, the incumbent will leverage their expertise in HR and administration to support the growth and development of the start-up advertising agency. This individual will partner closely with the business to ensure compliance with local labor laws, lead the recruitment and onboarding of talent, and oversee the setup and management of the company's office and administrative functions.

Description

Human Resources

  • Establish and implement comprehensive HR policies, procedures, and best practices that align with Hong Kong labor laws and industry standards.
  • Develop and manage the full employee lifecycle, including workforce planning, talent acquisition, onboarding, performance management, learning and development, and offboarding.
  • Oversee the recruitment and hiring process for all advertising and corporate functions, ensuring the company attracts and retains top talent.
  • Design and administer employee compensation and benefits programs, ensuring compliance with local regulations.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging work culture that supports the company's values and brand.
  • Serve as a strategic business partner, collaborating with the leadership team to develop and execute HR initiatives that drive organizational effectiveness.

Administrative Management:

  • Oversee the setup and management of the company's office space, including the selection of the location, negotiation of the lease, and coordination of the fit-out process.
  • Manage the procurement of office equipment, supplies, and other administrative resources to ensure a smooth and efficient work environment.
  • Coordinate with external service providers, such as IT, facilities, and security, to ensure the seamless functioning of the office.

Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in HR and administrative management, preferably in the advertising or creative industries
  • Thorough understanding of Hong Kong labor laws, HR best practices, and administrative operations
  • Proven track record of building HR policies, processes, and systems from the ground up in a start-up or fast-paced environment
  • Exceptional organizational and project management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Proficient in data analysis, HR information systems, and office management software
  • Flexible, adaptable, and comfortable working in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment
  • Fluency in English and Cantonese is essential; knowledge of Mandarin is a strong advantage
