Senior Procurement Officer ( IT system / Cloud ) | HK Talent Engage

Job description

Responsibilities :

• Responsible for all purchasing activities within the organization.
• Track and report on key functional metrics to help reduce expenses and improve procurement effectiveness.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure clear requirements documentation for procurement.
• Seek out and cultivate relationships with reliable vendors and suppliers.
• Determine the appropriate quantity and timing of product/service deliveries.
• Assist in reviewing the vendor database and procurement workflow to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
• Maintain detailed records of purchases, pricing, and other important procurement data in the system.
• Support the Procurement Manager in preparing reports and conducting data analysis.
• Undertake any other projects or duties as assigned.

Requirements :

• Bachelor's degree or above in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Procurement, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of working experience in IT and cloud-related procurement, preferred.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills and strong process knowledge.
• Experience using ERP and tendering systems, preferred.
• Solid understanding of sourcing and vendor management best practices.
• Proficient in using PC, MS Office, and Chinese word processing software.
• Fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin, both spoken and written.
• Possesses a "can-do" attitude, is a team player, and is willing to learn.
• Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
