We are looking for a professional with solid procurement experience and strong supervisory skills to lead a team of procurement specialists to build efficient procure-to-pay cycle and proper governance on procurement activities. You will report to General Manager, Strategic Procurement whileworking closely with other functional departments and procurement teams at group and regional levels for effective spending and group synergies. You are required to communicate with a diverse range of stakeholders, both internally & externally.
What You’ll Do
- Act as account manager to assigned user department(s) to ensure effective communication, including but not limited to project update, governance aspect and customer satisfaction & expectation etc.
- Lead team of procurement professionals to accomplish assigned tasks & projects effectively & efficiently;
- Conduct cost saving studies and develop contracts of the assigned categories with cost effective and sustainable solutions;
- Ensure proper execution of Procurement Policy for effective corporate governance and supplier management;
What You Need
1. Functional and other Relevant Experience
- Minimum 5 years (for assistant manager) solid experience in procurement and supply chain management;
- With supervisory experience is preferred;
2. Qualifications and other Relevant Knowledge
- Recognized degree in any disciplines, business/management related an advantage;
- Professional qualification in procurement & supply is preferred for assistant manager and mandatory for manager;
- Product and market knowledge in related category of purchases is an advantage;
- Excellent command of English and Chinese, both spoken and written.
