Job description

Requirements:

  • University degree in Economics, Political Economy or related disciplines
  • Minimum 8-10 years of proven track record in strong report writing on analyzing public sector policy issues and real estate field; experienced in managing public policy and/or government relations and advocacy work
  • Solid knowledge of the political system and policy making in the mainland and Hong Kong including Government, NGOs the policy community, in particular with in-depth understanding on mainland public policies
  • Able to lead and inspire an adept team, exhibiting strong interpersonal and communication skills, with good experience working and engaging with policymakers
  • Proficient in both English and Chinese languages, including Putonghua and Cantonese

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and understand the fast-changing policy landscape on mainland and Hong Kong business environment, to provide timely analysis and assessment on relevant policy issues
  • Conduct macroeconomic, real estate market and sector-specific research, and write up research reports
  • Establish strong connections with government departments, business associations, and think tanks in both Hong Kong and mainland China to undertake policy lobbying
  • Work closely with business partners and internal stakeholders in company-wide programs, initiatives, events and activities
  • Respond to questions and consultations from external stakeholders on relevant policy issues
