Reports To: Cargo Revenue Manager Planning, Analytics & Solutions

Department: Cargo Commercial (CGO)

The Cargo Revenue Solutions Manager is a key member of the Cargo Revenue Management team. This role will be responsible for leading the implementation of the dynamic pricing engine solution, setting up the pricing transformation roadmap, and driving pricing process revamp. The Cargo Revenue Solutions Manager will play a crucial role in enhancing revenue quality, optimizing pricing strategies, and boosting revenue efficiency for the Cathay Pacific Group.

Key Responsibilities

Pricing Strategy Revamp

• Diagnose pricing strategies and tactics and identify the optimal pricing model to optimize revenue generation.
• Lead the re-engineering of pricing processes to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and responsiveness.
• Develop change management strategies and plans to ensure successful adoption and implementation of the dynamic pricing engine solution.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate pricing processes with other commercial activities.
• Design the pricing organization, including roles and scope for the team, and provide training and support to facilitate the transition to new pricing processes and tools.

Pricing Solution Design

• Gather requirements from stakeholders and define business cases for the dynamic pricing engine.
• Collaborate with IT and Digital teams to design and develop the infrastructure for the pricing engine, ensuring proper integration with the cargo ecosystem and changes to upstream/downstream systems.
• Ensure scalability, reliability, performance and continuous improvement of the pricing engine solution.
• Conduct testing and validation of the pricing engine to ensure accuracy and effectiveness.

Project Management

• Lead end-to-end project management of the dynamic pricing engine solution.
• Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Develop project plans, timelines, and resource allocation to ensure successful implementation.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support other revenue solution delivery.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in an analytical discipline, such as business, science, or engineering. A post-graduate qualification is preferred.
• Preferably, at least 8 years of relevant experience. PMP certification or prior exposure to Lean methodologies, process improvement, and change management is advantageous.
• Proven experience as a strategy developer, with the ability to bridge the gap between commercial, technical, sales, and operations teams.
• Strong leadership skills, with a "team player" attitude and the ability to establish consensus among cross-functional lines.
• Excellent research and benchmarking capabilities, with extensive experience in data collection, synthesis, and documentation.
• Strong numerical skills and a natural curiosity to understand the stories behind the numbers, driving behavioral improvement through data analysis.
• Advanced knowledge in AI/ML and the ability to understand and apply technology to work.
