Job description

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of a comprehensive, enterprise-wide market surveillance and analytics platform, collaborating closely with Compliance, Legal, Front Office, and Technology teams.
• Develop innovative trade pattern detection methods, draft business requirements, and work with the technology team to deploy production-ready monitoring solutions.
• Contribute to the design and maintenance of an enterprise surveillance and research repository, ensuring robust governance and accurate audit trails.
• Develop advanced analytics tools, such as behavior analyses, multi-data format alerts, and risk metrics, to support monitoring and regulatory inquiries.
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies, methodologies, and market trends to enhance the surveillance program and address new threats and regulatory changes.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's or advanced degree in a related field, such as statistics, computer science, or finance.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in the financial services industry.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in designing, implementing, and monitoring market or trade surveillance technologies in a highly regulated environment.
• Demonstrated ability to thrive in a rapidly changing and complex work environment.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Exceptional analytical skills, initiative, and impeccable integrity.
