Job description

A global fund management business is looking to appoint an Investor Relations VP to join their team in Hong Kong. The role will focus on developing long term, sustainable investor relationship across Asia and beyond. Taking a pivotal role in capital raising, business development, and product strategies across the wider platform, to link investment opportunities with investors.

Responsibilities will include;

• Promote a global approach to Investor Relations
• Develop and manage a group of quality investor relationships, with the aim of distribution and capital raising for a high performing real estate debt strategy
• Understand investor requirements and engage with them on specific investment propositions
• Promote the Company to clients and prospective investors as a leading global manager
• Report and communicate with clients, with a view to improve to quality and consistency
• Lead/support the development of new products by preparing concepts and business cases
• Create marketing strategies for new products and project manage their implementation
• Create marketing/support materials as required
• Organise client events and support marketing and PR opportunities as required
• Represent the company at client events/conferences as required.

Required knowledge & experience:

• A have a good knowledge of the investment management industry
• A track record with investor relationships, capital raising, marketing and product development
• A network of investor and wider industry contacts, exposure working with institutional clients would be an advantage
• Excellent interpersonal skills including leadership and management
• Strong presentation and negotiation skills
