Job description
Our client is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Project Manager to lead the office renovation (fitting out) of itsgroup headquarters in Hong Kong. This newly created role will oversee a project size of 72,000 sq.ft., ensuring the successful planning, execution, and completion of the renovation within budget and on schedule. Key Responsibilities Project Planning and Management:
- Develop a comprehensive project plan, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure all project requirements are clearly defined and met.
Budget and Cost Control:
- Prepare and manage the project budget, ensuring all expenditures are tracked and kept within approved limits.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement measures to optimize project costs.
Vendor and Contractor Management:
- Select and manage contractors, suppliers, and service providers, ensuring they deliver high-quality work in accordance with project specifications.
- Negotiate contracts and manage vendor relationships to ensure timely and efficient delivery of services.
Quality Assurance:
- Implement and oversee quality control procedures to ensure all work meets the highest standards.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and address any issues promptly.
Risk Management:
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project disruptions.
- Monitor project risks and implement contingency plans as necessary.
Communication and Reporting:
- Maintain clear and consistent communication with all stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status.
- Prepare and present detailed progress reports to senior management.
Compliance and Safety:

Ensure all renovation activities comply with relevant building codes, regulations, and safety standards.

Implement and enforce safety protocols to protect workers and occupants during the renovation process.
Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field.

Minimum of 7 years of experience in project management, with a focus on office renovation and fitting out projects.

Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale renovation projects, preferably in a corporate setting.

Strong project planning and organizational skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Proficient in project management software and tools.

Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.

Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality and excellence.
