We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a **Senior Manager, Life Insurance Products, Global Insurance.

Principal Responsibilities

• Provide ongoing support to deliver Global Insurance Product team strategic priorities as they evolve
• Work with country insurance / bank entities and third-party partners in managing, steering and developing Life insurance products and product related initiatives. Including
  • Leading Global Insurance product governance, and product interaction, for Non ASP sites, supporting interaction with other Global Insurance and Bank teams; ensuring efficient product approvals, impactful product interventions and effective product steering
  • Representing Global Insurance team at certain entity local Product Committees and actively supporting and engaging on country led product activities; facilitating best practise sharing and providing global insights
• Maintain and support the evolution and development of Insurance Procedures as relates to product management
• Maintain and develop the Insurance Product Risk Scoring Model (for Wealth Insurance Participating and Universal Life products) and engaging with the wider GPB&W Product Risk Scoring Model owners and leading on all applicable oversight governance
• Support connectivity; driving strong and effective collaboration across teams within Global Insurance, between Global and Local, between 1st line and 2nd line, and between Insurance and other parts of HSBC such as IWS and CMB. Ensuring clarity on roles and responsibilities and maximising leverage of skill sets

Qualifications

• Extensive experience of the Financial Services industry covering Life product development / product management / pricing and / or risk analysis across a broad range of insurance products
• Multi-geography experience
• Excellent communication skills, influencing and stakeholder management skills and tracking and organisational skills
• Confident working with a wide range of markets, with diverse product sets, distribution standards, and market dynamics
• Ability to balance the requirements of multiple stakeholders and projects and manage relationships with teams within Insurance, channels and across global, local, 1LOD and 2LOD
• Fluent in English
