Description
To expand product portfolio, the firm is looking for a Japanese-speaking design professional (ideally with experience in product design) to join to team to uphold clients' design standards. The expanded portfolio will include multiple IP owners in Japan. The designer/manager will leverage his/her design expertise to communicate requirements between stakeholders, act upon feedbacks, and drive the process of review and iteration.
Precisely speaking, the designer/manager will drive creative directions for represented brands, participate in the design process, review and iterate designs, comply and contribute to design guidelines, foster a collaborative environment, and perform market research and analysis.
Profile
Native or professional proficiency in Japanese is a must. The firm would like to seek talents from the Japanese community in Hong Kong or any person who can speak Japanese as a second language (must be highly fluent). Proficiency in Chinese or English is required.
The ideal candidate should have at least 3-5 years of experience in product design and brand management. Candidates with experience in other aspects of design will also be considered.
Design knowledge and expertise should be demonstrated through the candidates' understanding in brand identity, design principles, and market trends. Communications and stakeholder management skills are essential success factors.
