Description

  • Developing and managing comprehensive project plans, timelines, and budgets for NPI projects
  • Collaborating cross-functionally with engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and marketing teams to ensure all project milestones are met
  • Identifying and mitigating risks, and implementing effective contingency plans
  • Overseeing design verification testing, DfX analysis, and production readiness reviews
  • Tracking project KPIs and providing regular status updates to stakeholders
  • Continuously improving NPI processes and best practices to drive efficiencies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, manufacturing, and quality assurance, to ensure seamless product development.
  • Support the management of project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation to meet development milestones
  • Conduct detailed engineering analyses, simulations, and performance testing to validate designs and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Assist in preparing technical documentation, reports, and presentations for stakeholders and executive leadership.

Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Project Management, or a related technical field
  • 10+ years of experience as a NPI Project Manager or similar role in consumer electronics or high-tech manufacturing
  • Proven track record of successfully managing complex, cross-functional NPI projects from concept to production
  • Excellent project management, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Strong understanding of new product development methodologies, DfX principles, manufacturing processes, Six Sigma, Testing Plan, FMEA
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
