Description

  • Develop and implement comprehensive air freight pricing strategies to optimize costs and improve overall profitability.
  • Analyze market trends, carrier rates, and competitor pricing to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Collaborate with logistics teams to negotiate favorable contracts and service agreements with air carriers.
  • Monitor and evaluate air freight performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Work closely with the sales team to provide pricing support and ensure alignment with customer expectations and market conditions.
  • Prepare detailed pricing reports and forecasts for stakeholders, highlighting key insights and recommendations.

Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field; advanced degree is a plus.
  • 5+ years of experience in air freight pricing or logistics management, preferably within an e-commerce or retail environment.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools, with the ability to interpret complex pricing data.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills to effectively collaborate with internal teams and external partners.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of air freight regulations, carrier operations, and industry best practices.
