The role:

  • Responsible for the monthly accounts and variance analysis of actual against historical / budget financial results and review the explanatory notes prepared by other departments
  • Co-ordinate with various departments for the submission of monthly information for monthly accounts closing
  • Prepare the financial packages for management meetings
  • Responsible for the financial forecast on a monthly basis and 5-year budget plan annually
  • Review and submit regular and adhoc reports to the Government
  • Participate in computerized system enhancement and development
  • Liaise with external auditor for statutory audit and tax consultant for taxation matters

Skills and attributes:

  • Bachelor degree holder in Accounting, Finance or Business
  • Qualified Accountant (HKICPA or equivalent)
  • At least 8 years of relevant work experience [a candidate with less experience will be considered for the Senior Accounting Officer role]
  • Familiar with Microsoft Excel, Word and Powerpoint
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Good command of spoken and written English and Cantonese
