Senior Credit Control Manager - Corporate Risk & Compliance (Job ID 4556)

Responsibilities

  • Ensure that procedures and processes are in compliance with policies, rules, guidelines, requirements prescribed by regulators as well as the Bank
  • Manage and supervise credit monitoring processes in respect of credit review monitoring, past due monitoring, limit excess monitoring and adverse news checking
  • Develop, enhance and implement control measures to rectify issues/ exceptions as identified by internal stakeholders and external auditors and regulators
  • Assist supervisor(s) in handling enquiries from management, auditors and regulators
  • Collaborate with various departments for development and enhancement of credit related controls of the division
  • Alert and report on regulatory irregularities, breach of guidelines and potential credit risk
  • Handle ad hoc tasks and other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • University degree, preferably major in risk management, finance or related discipline
  • Preferably over 7 years’ experience in banking sector
  • HKIB related qualification would be an advantage
  • Good knowledge of corporate credit and lending principles and credit control
  • Good understanding of relevant policies, procedures, practices and rules issued by HKMA, SFC, IA and other regulatory bodies
  • Experience in project management or business analysis will be an advantage
  • Self-motivated with strong communication, analytical and problem solving skills
  • Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese
