Your new company

A well-reputed Corporate Bank is looking for an experienced Department Head for their Operations, supervise the Operations Department with 18 Headcounts, to manage daily Payment Transaction, Settlement, Account Opening, KYC/CDD, Loan Operations/ Credit Admin, Trade Finance, and other transaction processing.

Your new role

• Oversee and manage the operations department of 18 headcounts, supervise the Operations Department with 18 Headcounts, to manage daily Payment Transaction, Settlement, Account Opening, KYC/CDD, Loan Operations/ Credit Admin, Trade Finance, and other transaction processing
• Monitor and coordinate operational project development and streamline processing enhancement
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational productivity and service quality
• Liaise with Compliance/Risk in relation to all compliance and risk related matters within the business and support units, as well as with Head Office to assure that all operations functions centralized are carried out
• Manage and develop the dept of operations professionals to build a high-performing organisation
• Monitor and report on key operational metrics and drive continuous performance optimisation
• Collaborate cross-functionally with business, compliance, technology, and other support teams
• Ensure adherence to all relevant regulations, policies, and risk management frameworks
• Represent the operations function in senior management meetings and drive strategic initiatives

What you'll need to succeed

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field.
• More than 10 years working experience in Corporate/ Wholesale Banking Operations and / or Operations Control fields with experience in risk identification, controls monitoring and policies and procedures documentation
• Strong understanding of core corporate/ wholesale banking products and services with proven track record of leading large, complex operations teams
• Ability to prioritise, multi-task and maintain flexibility in a fast paced, service oriented, changing environment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to liaise with stakeholders at all levels
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills
