We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Sales Manager.

Principal Responsibilities

Purpose

To achieve GPB sales targets by serving as a conduit for Market, IC and IWS stakeholders in identifying key gaps and opportunities in the sales offering / process and to then create platform-wide, scalable initiatives and campaigns to capture these opportunities, including robust project plans and timelines to execute and deliver.

Sales Management Process

  • Monitor sales performance and productivity of frontline via KPIs / agreed standards in line with agreed target operating model (global market management, PC Segment, HNW continuum, UHNW and Asian Wealth growth)
  • Design and implement a consistent and effective sales management approach including tools, MI, capability development and incentives
  • By understanding GPB sales platform, leverage and coordinate use of multi-channel sales efforts and development of scalable processes together with key partners (GPB market heads, IC’s, IWS, Marketing, Risk) to deliver sales impact
  • Review business analytics to identify opportunities to increase penetration of top themes and product ideas, ensure alignment of sales ideas to GIC / RIC view by incorporating client / market feedback into product / sales ideas
  • Ensure targeted sales initiatives by delineating IC client books according to product relevance / priority through systematic tracking and analysis
  • Proposing credible options, influencing key stakeholders appropriately and reaching agreement / resolution with senior leaders

Sales Material and Tools - Liaising with IWS to help with their product distribution presentation and timing

  • Develop consistency with how product and sales initiatives are presented to clients; typically requires cross-departmental work with marketing teams and L&C
  • Ensure ICs and RMs are well equipped with best marketing materials available to ensure effective solicitation of product
  • Ensure that product and sales repository is properly structured to support an efficient end to end sales process for ICs and RMs

Requirements - Over 5 years of relevant business and product management experience in the banking industry, preferably Private Banking / Private Wealth Management

  • University degree in Business or Finance
  • Ability to work in a multi-function team and to establish credibility in front of colleagues and clients
  • Well versed in various MS office applications (ppt, excel etc)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good understanding of front to back processes are an advantage
