Description

• Develop and implement pricing strategies and models to optimize revenue and margin for freight forwarding services.
• Analyze market trends, competitor pricing, and customer requirements to determine competitive and profitable pricing structures.
• Collaborate with sales teams and clients to prepare accurate and competitive quotations in a timely manner.
• Conduct regular pricing reviews and adjustments to ensure alignment with market dynamics and profitability targets.
• Monitor and control freight pricing across various trade lanes, considering factors such as costs, capacity, and demand.
• Perform revenue and margin analysis, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
• Develop pricing guidelines and policies to ensure consistency and compliance across the organization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations and finance, to align pricing strategies with operational capabilities and financial objectives.
• Provide insights and recommendations to senior management on pricing decisions, profitability targets, and revenue optimization opportunities.

Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience in pricing management within the freight forwarding or logistics industry.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to conduct pricing analysis and perform margin calculations.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal teams and customers.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with a focus on delivering high-quality pricing solutions.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities and meeting tight deadlines.
• Experience with data analysis and business intelligence tools is an advantage.
