职位描述

The applicant must possess:

1. a recognised degree in construction related disciplines;
2. qualification of Registered Safety Officer (RSO), holder of Safety Supervisor, First Aid, Occupational Safety and Health Trainer (TTT) Certificate would be an advantage;
3. a minimum of 3 years' post-qualification work experience in construction / engineering / facility management, preferably in sizable organisations;
4. conversance with renowned safety management system and vision;
5. solid working experience in confined space, Smart Site Safety System (4S) installation and implementation, electrical safety will be an added advantage;
6. excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills with the ability to interact with various internal and external stakeholders;
7. proficiency in Microsoft application softwares (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and Chinese word processing; and
8. good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese (Good command of Putonghua would be an advantage).

(Applicants who do not possess the required qualifications and / or experience may be considered for other positions within the organisation.)

Duties include:

1. to support the daily operation of the Safety Experience Training Centre (SETC);
2. to manage and / or assist the administration of safety training facilities, equipment and venue including daily operation and planning;
3. to plan, organise and conduct safety experience training, demonstration, tuition and follow-up;
4. to assist the development of SETC as a Centre of Excellence in the safety stream and to promote SETC as an information centre on work safety in construction industry;
5. to assist in designing and implementing tour experiences on an on-going basis;
6. to assist in organising group tours, seminars and any other publicity events; and
7. to carry out any other duties as assigned from time to time by the Executive Director.

The position is on a renewable fixed-term contract (subject to performance and operational needs) for a period of 2 years.
