Associate Director / Assistant Director (Partnership and Development) (Ref. 240912036-IE)
Duties
The appointee will be required to:
(a) lead the Partnership Team to ensure effective delegation reception and alliance management;
(b) lead the Development Team to ensure smooth operations of the Mainland bases and collaboration with partners;
(c) facilitate outreach visits of Central Management Team in Mainland China;
(d) support Mainland Translational Research Institutes and engage with key stakeholders in Hong Kong and Mainland China;
(e) act as the primary liaison for stakeholders in Mainland China to maintain and foster strong relationships;
(f) develop additional partnership opportunities and actively pursue new initiatives in Mainland China;
(g) assist the Director in preparing reports and proposals for senior management regarding development initiatives and the progress of the Mainland bases; and
(h) perform any other duties as assigned by the Director of Mainland Development or his delegates.
Qualifications
Applicants should:
(a) have a recognised degree in Business Administration, Management, Public Relations or a related discipline;
(b) have at least ten years of working experience at managerial level, preferably with experience in managing partnerships or operations related to Mainland China;
(c) be proactive, independent and capable of building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders;
(d) exhibit strong organisational, leadership and project management skills;
(e) be familiar with Mainland China and its development landscape; and
(f) have an excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua).
Applicants with less experience may be considered for the post of Assistant Director.
Shortlisted candidates may be invited to sit for a written test.
Conditions of Service
A highly competitive remuneration package will be offered. Initial appointment will be on a fixed-term gratuity-bearing contract. Re-engagement thereafter is subject to mutual agreement.
