Responsibilities:
Drive the progress of HK risk-based capital (HKRBC) implementation for the Finance stream, including studying the requirements, designing new process flows, and preparing quarterly returns.
Assist in month-end closing on investment accounting and participate in other assigned projects.
Familiarize with current work processes and identify areas for improvement.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or equivalent.
Qualified Accountant, HKICPA or equivalent.
Minimum of 8 years' experience in financial reporting within the life insurance or financial institutions sector, with knowledge in HKFRS 9.
Preferably, candidates with experience in auditing or advisory, as well as knowledge in HKFRS 9 and investment accounting.
Highly adaptable to changes with a flexible and positive working attitude.
Proficient in MS applications such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Fluency in English and Chinese.
Experience in finance project implementation.
A dynamic team player with excellent coordination, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
