HKEX Summer Internship Programme offer interns a unique experience in global markets, with the opportunity to learn, develop new skills, take on direct responsibility for work and projects, and be part of a fun and ambitious team right at the heart of global markets. In joining us, you will gain insight into life at work at HKEX, while developing practical on-the-job experience.

The programme kicks off in June and continues through into August. The maximum employment period for each intern is 10 weeks.

Job Duties:

If you are:- Penultimate year students (graduating in between Sept 2025 to July 2026) from IT, Computer Science or related disciplines

• Be on track for a minimum 3.5 GPA; 2:1 Honours or equivalent
• Demonstrate commercial awareness and interest in global financial markets
• Possess strong sense of ownership, excellent problem-solving and analytical thinking skills
• Open-minded to embrace new challenges, able to learn and adapt quickly
• Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills and work well as a team
• Excellent command of written and spoken English

• IT - Infrastructure & Operations
• IT - Chief Information Security Office
• IT - Chief Data Office
• IT - IT Process, Risk & Control
• IT - ITD Shenzhen/Shanghai
• Operations (IT related functions)
