Christian Action was established in 1985 as a Hong Kong registered charitable organisation. Our mission is to serve those who are poor, disadvantaged, marginalised, displaced or abandoned, aiming to give them hope, dignity and self-reliance. Our service recipients include underprivileged children and youth, the unemployed, low-income families, ethnic minorities, refugees, migrant domestic workers, as well as orphans and abandoned children in Qinghai, we also run social enterprise programmes. Our services are based on the example of Jesus Christ to serve all people regardless of their age, gender, nationality and religion.

Responsibilities:

• To lead Placement team under Training Service Division;
• To manage department operations;
• To ensure the departmental performance up to standard and meet target;
• To supervise and monitor staff in operating placement services of ERB programme;
• To supervise Digital Learning Centre and its related programmes and services;
• To identify and prepare funding proposals;
• To foster cooperation & collaboration with other internal departments;
• To explore and develop potential services and business for the benefits of organizational growth;
• To supervise Alumni;
• Any ad hoc duties as required.

Requirement

• Degree or above in Education / Training / Social Work / HR / Business Management / Sociology or related disciplines;
• 10 years or more related experience in Placement / Training / Social Work/ HR / Business Management;
• Solid experience in ERB programme, especially Placement services and related business/services;
• Experience in project management;
• Experience in funding proposal writing;
• Knowledge in Labour Ordinance and Job Markets;
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Chinese Word processing;
• Proficiency in English and Cantonese is a must; Putonghua is an asset
