The new 373-room Dorsett Hotel flagship is inspired by the location’s dreamy Marina lifestyle and the ocean. Catering to both leisure and longer-staying business travellers alike, our suites offer pantry and light cooking facilities, and interconnecting options. Dorsett Kai Tak features two Presidential Suites, each with its own private terrace and the Presidential Harbour View Pool Suite housing its own 10m lap pool. Other hotel facilities include an outdoor rooftop bar and pool, 100 square metre fitness centre, and double-height ceiling grand ballroom.

For the guest arriving from the cruise terminal, the Hotel will offer a smooth transition to an atmosphere that echoes the magical time at sea; for the staycation patron, the Hotel will give the opportunity to dream of a Marina lifestyle without leaving Hong Kong

Job Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for planning, development, and implementation of the hotel’s marketing, communications, and public relations activities
  • Assist in marketing strategies formulation and protecting brand integrity, ensuring all marketing communications and public relations activities are developed in-line with overall marketing and brand direction
  • Promote the hotel's image through customer touch points, positive publicity, suitable collateral and appropriate awareness campaigns
  • Content Generation - Ideate, curate, write, conduct keyword research, and edit content for online/social media platforms to increase brand awareness and expand digital presence in the market
  • Create and test various advertising campaigns across various new ad/social media platforms to drive new areas of business growth and exposure
  • Work in tandem with e-marketing agency to ideate and strategize Google ads campaigns to improve rate of lead generation and reduce cost per acquisition
  • Provide online analytics with in depth insights for key business decisions
  • Identify effectiveness and impact of current marketing initiatives with tracking and analysis, and optimize accordingly

Job Requirements:

  • University degree in English Studies, Translation, Marketing, Journalism, or related disciplines
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in Marketing and Communication field
  • Managerial experience in the hospitality or hotel industry, additional experience gained in PR agency or event management company preferred
  • Experience in branded product launches or collaboration, events, entertainment, and F&B will be an advantage
  • Understand how the social media algorithms work – Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, WeChat, Twitter, Xiaohongshu, etc
  • Strong creative, strategic, analytical and project management skill
  • Able to multi-task, work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines
