Our FMCG Retail client is on the hunt for an experienced HR Business Partner Lead to join and drive the people strategy for their Hong Kong business. You will be responsible for driving the HR strategy and talent management initiatives for the growing retail and FMCG portfolio. Reporting directly to the regional HR Director, you will lead a team of 7-8 junior HRBPs and serve as a strategic partner to C-suite executives.

You will be responsible for driving the HR strategy and talent management initiatives for the growing retail and FMCG portfolio. Reporting directly to the regional HR Director, you will lead a team of 7-8 junior HRBPs and serve as a strategic partner to C-suite executives. Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive HR strategies aligned with the business objectives and growth plans
  • Provide consultative HR support and advice to business leaders on all people-related matters
  • Partner with HR CoE leaders including talent acquisition, performance management, learning & development, compensation & benefits, and employee relations
  • Ensure compliance with all local labor laws, regulations, and best practices in Hong Kong
  • Foster a positive, engaging, and productive work culture that enables the business to attract, retain, and develop top talent
  • Identify areas for process improvements and implement innovative HR programs and initiatives
  • Analyze HR metrics and insights to make data-driven decisions and recommendations
  • Manage and develop the HR team to build a high-performing and future-ready organization

Requirements:

  • Minimum 15 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in the retail or FMCG industry
  • Proven track record of successfully partnering with C-suite executives and business leaders
  • Extensive knowledge of Hong Kong's labor laws, employment regulations, and HR best practices
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills
  • Proficiency in both written and spoken English & Chinese
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making abilities
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and ambiguous environment
  • Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
