• Garment manufacturer
• Factories : Dongguan, Vietnam & Cambodia
• Main itemes : knitwear focus in swimwear, lingerie and sportswear
• Main markets : US and European countries for international fashion brands, sports brands, department stores, specialty stores and mail order companies
• We are looking for Merchandising Manager – with details as follows :

The Job :

• Report to Chief Business Director
• Lead the Merchandising and Procurement departments for monitoring the critical path from product development to goods delivery;
• Keep abreast of the fashion market trend especially for lingerie, swimwear & sportswear
• Manage customer relationships and changing needs in an effective manner;
• Set sourcing strategies for China, Vietnam, and Cambodia as part of product development;
• Negotiate and achieve best pricing and terms by devising and executing sourcing and account strategies;
• Manage and continuously improve procurement processes, and provide direction on assessing and monitoring supplier capabilities in the areas of fabric and trims;
• Grow customer accounts by providing insights and directions on business model based on the company’s strengths and dynamic global market situation.
• Set up sales and sourcing strategies and targets for different sales regions / customers / suppliers and to strive for meeting / exceeding the related KPIs;
• Degree holder or above preferably in Fashion / Textiles / Clothing or related disciplines
• 8+ years experience at managerial level in the apparel industry, preferably in the lingerie segment;
• A mature leader with strong business acumen
• Knowledgeable and experienced in product development, sourcing, and production processes, preferably in the lingerie / swimwear areas, and European / North American experience & exposure
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese;
• Proficient in computer applications, such as MS Office / ERP system
• 5 days work
• 80% time work in China factory
• 20 % time work in Hong Kong office
• Some overseas trips when required
• 13 months salary + performance bonus
• Annual leave : 15 days
• Medical insurance
• Staff quarters outside factory provided
• Transportation provided between staff quarters and China factory
• Three meals provided
