Job Descriptions:

  • To prepare month-end closing, journal entries, regular statutory returns and account reconciliations in accordance with HKFRS and statutory requirements;
  • To assist in daily accounting operations such as expense payment and bank reconciliation;
  • To produce accurate and timely financial statements and ad-hoc reports;
  • To manage internal and external audit, profit tax computation and filing;
  • To assist in preparation of annual budget and perform budgetary control; and
  • To perform any ad-hoc projects/duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Degree holder in Accounting, Finance or related discipline with professional qualification;
  • A minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience, experience gained in insurance industry and/or Big Four is preferable;
  • Solid knowledge in the financial metrics of life insurance business;
  • Proficient in Oracle is an advantage; and
  • Good understanding of latest accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
