We are now looking for a suitable person to fill the following position in the School of Arts and Social Sciences:
Part-time Assistant Manager (World University Animation Awards) (Ref: 24001QX)
Major Duties and Responsibilities
The appointee will be responsible mainly for the following:
- Overseeing the implementation of the project in award-related aspects and ensure completion of deliverable in a timely manner;
- Coordinating and liaising with external stakeholders;
- Performing any other ad hoc duties as assigned by Dean of School of Arts and Social Science or his/her delegates.
The appointee may be required to work outside normal office hours.
Candidates
Candidates should possess the following qualifications, experience and competence:
- A recognized degree with at least 2 years’ relevant post-qualification working experience, preferably in the field of education;
- Good abilities in project management related to events;
- Strong problem-solving skills, interpersonal and communication skills, multi-tasking and time management skills, and the ability to work under pressure and complete tasks independently;
- Self-motivated and detail-oriented with a strong sense of responsibility and good with problem solving;
- Good information technology skills including MS Office tools and data analysis tools etc.; and
- Good command of English and Chinese, including Putonghua.

Remuneration
You shall be paid by an hourly rate on monthly basis with provision of MPF scheme in accordance with the prevailing guidelines, if applicable.
Duration of Appointment
The appointee(s) will be required to work for the period from October 2024 to September 2025. Your hours of work may vary by course. Your weekly hours of work shall normally be capped below 17 hours per week (including other part-time appointments taken up by you in the University, if any).
Terms and Conditions for Appointment
Successful will be appointed on a temporary part-time contract. Benefits will be provided in accordance with the statutory provisions.
