Our client is a well-known foreign bank. They wish to hire a talented Product Control Manager - Fixed Income to join their team.

Our client is a well-known foreign bank. They wish to hire a talented Product Control Manager - Fixed Income to join their team.

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Team Head, you will be responsible for

• Daily P&L production, reconciliation, reporting and analysis
• Reconcile and resolve P&L variances with front office trading desks
• Reconcile P&L reported to general ledger and investigate any variances
• Month-end balance sheet substantiation
• Conduct periodic independent price verification and valuation
• Participate in new business/product approval process
• Work closely with Financial Control on ledger booking, accounting fair value adjustment, and financial statements disclosure

Requirements

• Degree holder in accounting/ finance with at least 5 years of experience in audit or Product Control
• Qualified CPA holder is highly preferred
• Big 4 Valuation Team is welcome
• Fixed Income knowledge is a must
• Self-starter with strong control mind set
• Strong communicator and able to work with various senior stakeholders
• Strong analytical and problems solving skills
• Good judgment in assessing control risk and issues requiring escalation
