Role Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled A/V Specialist to join our team of AV professionals. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of AV systems in over 100 central classrooms and essential venues. This role involves designing, evaluating, procuring, and assisting in writing tenders for AV systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with a team of AV professionals to maintain and support AV systems.
• Design, evaluate, and procure AV systems.
• Assist in writing tenders for AV systems.
• Ensure smooth operations of AV systems in central classrooms and essential venues.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher.

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in AV & IT technologies.

• At least 2 years of experience in classroom operation & support.

• In-depth knowledge of modern AV technology, including:

• Crestron or other brand AV-over-IP

• Modern DSPs (BiAMP Tesira Series, QSYS Core series)

• Dante and AES67 networking audio

• Mixed-mode teaching provisioning

• Shure DECT microphone provisioning

• HDMI extension on fiber and copper

• USB extension over IP

• AV switching and laser projection technologies

• Familiarity with Cisco and Huawei switch configuration in AV networking.

• Preferred: Knowledge in data networking.

• Experience in performance and fault monitoring, audio tuning (Smaart v8/v9), OpenWRT/DD-WRT, incident management, project planning, scheduling, and workflow is an advantage.

• Proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Ability to work under pressure and as part of a team with a self-initiative attitude.

Contract Details:

• Duration: 2 years, renewable.
• Starting salary commensurate with qualifications and experience.
• Fringe benefits include annual leave, medical, and dental benefits.
• Gratuity payable upon successful completion of the contract.
