Key Responsibilities

• Develop and oversee the implementation of a comprehensive branding and marketing strategy to position ZA Bank as a leader in the financial services industry
• Manage a high-performing team of specialists to seamlessly integrate all aspects of the marketing mix, including advertising, performance marketing, content marketing, social media, events, and public relations
• Own a ZA Bank product and be accountable for driving its growth and performance metrics
• Continuously monitor the effectiveness of marketing initiatives and optimize strategies based on data-driven insights
• Partner closely with senior leadership to ensure marketing objectives are aligned with the bank's overall business goals
• Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices to identify opportunities to enhance ZA Bank's brand presence

Qualifications and Experience

• 10+ years of progressive experience in marketing, branding, and product management, preferably within the banking or financial services sector
• Proven track record of leading successful, multi-channel marketing campaigns that have delivered measurable results in terms of brand awareness and business growth
• Demonstrated expertise across the full marketing mix, including advertising, performance marketing, content marketing, social media, events, and public relations
• Exceptional team management and leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and guide a diverse marketing team
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities, with the presence to influence and collaborate with senior executives
• Data-driven mindset and the ability to measure, analyze, and optimize marketing initiatives
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
