Your new company A well established local power solutions service provider is looking for an Engineering background professional to take up an Engineering Business Support Manager position. Your new role

• Provide professional support for Extra Heavy Load (EHL) movement activities and ensure the operation meeting the world-class safety and quality standards
• Lead to organize internal activities such as Team Building Workshop and innovative programmes
• Provide professional support for helicopter operations and management as well as administer all contracts related to helicopter and Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) operations
• Develop overall strategy and roadmap for UAV operations to enable UAV operations
• Lead respective teams to oversee safety, environmental, health and internal control policies & procedures in the business operations, and ensure compliance with legal requirements
• Assist management to prepare departmental business plan, and develop and manage short/medium term strategic work plan and program
• Lead the review and continuous improvement of computerized process control systems to ensure smooth operation for both internal and external customers
• Supervise and coordinate external businesses to achieve optimal asset utilization and maintain competitiveness in the external business market (e.g., material storage and handling, EHL equipment)
• Obtain feedback from internal and external customers regarding Logistics and Transport services through customer satisfaction survey, develop follow-up actions and motivate the team members to improve performance

What you'll need to succeed

• A recognized university degree in Engineering or related discipline, with at least 5 years relevant experience
• Holder of professional qualification in engineering/safety discipline will be an advantage
• Business-minded, performance-driven and result-oriented, able to motivate work teams and synergy of resources, develop staff and cultivate a continuous improvement culture
• Strong analytical, problem solving, interpersonal and team-building skills
• Highly dynamic, commitment to understanding and adopting best practices in resolving ad hoc / urgent requests in a timely manner
• Proactive and willing to work under pressure with minimal supervision
• Mindful and possess very good knowledge in safety awareness and legal compliance
• Ability to communicate effectively in both spoken and written English and Chinese
• Possession of a valid driving license (class 1 & 2) is preferable
